I was up late last night and happened to turn the tv to PBS so that it would be on the right channel for D in the morning..........can't be without our Sesame Street! Anyhow, I happened upon this show about how to make things happen in life. The basic principle was that positive begets positive and that negative begets negative.
In other words, the more positive you think, the more positive things will be drawn to you. Instead of laying in bed thinking about all the negative aspects of the day right before you go to sleep, think about all the things you WANT to happen and all the things you KNOW you are capable of accomplishing. This is how you manifest these into your own life.
My theory? What the heck! My motto is YES I CAN! I CAN sell my book. I CAN sell my articles and make money. I CAN finish school despite the economic issues involved. I CAN get a better job. I CAN make ends meet, even though they are stretched so far apart they are on separate continents now. YES I CAN!
To that end, please stop by and visit my sites. The more visits I receive, the better I get paid. See, YES I CAN!

I am currently working on what I know..........asthma and allergies in children. I figure I may as well use what has happened to D and make money with it. At least maybe someone else out there (all 2 followers) may get some beneficial information out of it and be able to make choices accordingly!
Have a great Wednesday!

Waiting Game
Patience is not one of my virtues, but I am striving to learn what it really means. 2 weeks ago I sent my book to a publisher and I am waiting to hear from her. It is nerve-racking because I believe it is a good story and well written, but a publisher's opinion can make or break the book. I want to bug her every single day, but I have forced myself to sit quietly and wait for a response, or the 3 week mark.......which ever comes first.
Writing articles is easier than I thought because I can really write about anything that interests me. I have an entire folder of articles for each site I am working with. Crossing my fingers that I can get the job with About.com as well. That would really be helpful!
I need all of the followers that I can get on each of my sites, so please, please click the button to follow me! I want so many followers that I feel like I can't even step outside without waiting for a team of people (think Verizon) to step out behind me.

Interesting question
Out of curiousity, has anyone ever had someone hit on them in such an odd way that it completely changed the way you think of that person? This just happened to me the other day and I'm still scratching my head over it.
A guy asked for my number, so I gave it to him because after dealing with him for the last several months, I have come to think of him as a nice guy. Well, that went right out the window. After he began to text me, he asked if I wanted a picture of his, well, private parts. I declined, nicely. Before the day was over, he had sent me not one, but TWO pictures of himself, after bragging about himself. I was shocked and not at all interested once I received the first unsolicited picture (I'd rather find some things out for myself, thank you very much).
I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else and what was your response?

In the coming days, look for my link under Suite101 as well. Cross your fingers for me because I am hoping to also get the job with About.com as a contributing writer. If I do well, I want to upgrade to a guide for about.com as well.
But really, cross your fingers even more that I sell my book! That would put me on the map!

Working to get there
I am trying out this blog idea to see if I can help get my name out there. I picked up another writing gig, and I am hoping that eventually these will begin to pay off. Anyone that has any subject ideas that they really want to know more about can post the ideas and I'll start writing. I can write about almost anything if given enough time! I'm great with writing, but the starting point seems to be my weakest area.
Hoping to use this to keep people posted as I get going. I will always post links to anything I publish here so that it can easily be accessed and read by anyone interested.
